NHRC visited Hamasa  Summer Center for male and Al majed Summer Center for female in Al \u2013 Buraimi.\n Abdul Aziz Ali Al-Sadi, the director of Legal Affairs, gave a presentation for the students of  Hamasa  Summer Center. Where he explained the general definitions of human rights, the international and local mechanisms of human rights protecting and guarantor laws of those rights. In addition, he explained the child law and indicated some of its articles. He also discussed NHRC tasks, the mechanism of monitoring and receiving complaints and the roles that have been undertaken by NHRC in relation to human rights.\n On other hand, Fatma Mohammed Al-Thockri, the Head of NHRC General Secretary Office and Khazina  Moslem  Al-Rahbi , Resercher at the  NHRC Chairman Office , gave a joint educational presentation related to human rights to the students of Al majed Summer Center. They explained the human rights specializations of NHRC and provided a brief introduction about NHRC, its establishment, tasks, roles, competences and the mechanism of monitoring and receiving complaints. In addition, they displayed a documentary film that illustrated one side of Child rights and the duties towards it.\n Through its participation in the summer programs, the Commission aimed to disseminate the culture of human rights, NHRC mechanisms to protect and promote child rights and the role of the commission among students. In addition, NHRC  sought to explain the convention on the rights of the child (CRC), and appropriate domestic legislation for its implementation. Moreover they discussed number of topics related to the child law in order to promote and educate society members on the culture of child rights. This participation was part of education and awareness plan that have been undertaken by NHRC throughout the year in coordination with the Ministry of Education.\n NHRC participation also aimed to appreciate the importance of community partnership with the governmental and non- governmental institutions in order to disseminate the culture of human rights among society members and to implement the article 7 of its establishment law resolution. School students are one of the most important segment in the society and it is necessary to educate them in this early age in order to raise a knowledgeable generation in the future.\n Throughout the summer programs; the commission had work teams consisting of NHRC employees who have continuous training and sufficient experience in the fields of human rights awareness.
