They discussed the aspects of strengthening the cooperation between the OHRC and the Association in various fields related to human rights. At the beginning of the meeting, the OHRC Chairman introduced the Commission\u2019s work and terms of reference. He reviewed some of the OHRC\u2019s efforts in the field of monitoring, receiving complaints, and raising awareness and education about human rights. He expressed that the OHRC is ready to cooperate with the Association in various fields related to human rights. For her part, the President of the Omani Sociologist\u00a0 Association introduced the work of the Association, the research and field studies it conducts, and the efforts it makes to utilize the scientific expertise of specialists in sociology and social work.
