A work team from OHRC participated in the discussion seminar organized by the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions in cooperation with the United Nations Center for Training and Documentation in the Field of Human Rights for Southwest Asia and the Arab Region, entitled “75 years”, Evolution of the Human Rights System, Stations and Prospects”.
Experts from the United Nations Training Center, and representatives of the Arab countries members of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions, participated in the seminar, which was held remotely via the Zoom application.
The event aimed at reviewing the major milestones that the international human rights system has gone through since the founding of the United Nations, following up on interaction with international mechanisms in the field of promoting and protecting human rights, including efforts to develop standards and guarantees, opportunities for interaction and initiatives related to enhancing international human rights mechanisms.
