OHRC participated in the symposium held on the International Day of Human Solidarity, organized by the Arab Network of National Human Rights Institutions in cooperation and coordination with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA via the Zoom application.
The symposium dealt with a number of topics, including the means used by the United Nations to achieve human solidarity, maintain international peace and security, enhance respect for international legitimacy resolutions, ways to confront the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19) and other issues related to human rights.
OHRC was represented in this seminar by Said bin Salem Al-Nuamani, Yasser bin Said Al-Dhahili, members of OHRC and Al-Moathir bin Ahmed Al-Siyabi, a specialist in international organizations at OHRC.
