Oman Human Rights Commission Participates in the 23rd Session of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation
Oman Human Rights Commission participated in the 23rd session of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which was held at the OIC headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
 
The session discussed the topic “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Human Rights: Challenges and Opportunities” and included a high-level session on “The Ruling of the International Court of Justice on Gaza: Future Implications and Way Forward.”
 
The Commission was represented by a delegation headed by Lawyer Saud bin Saleh Al-Maawali, Deputy Chairman of Oman Human Rights Commission, and included Dr. Yahya bin Mohammed Al-Hinai, member of the Commission, Ms. Labiba bint Mohammed Al-Maawali, member of the Commission, and Mr. Sultan bin Ali Al-Maamari, Head of Laws and Regulations Department at Oman Human Rights Commission.
