The Honorable Sheikh/ Abdullah bin Shuwain Al Hosni, Chairman of Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC), met Her Excellency/ Stella Kloth, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands to the Sultanate of Oman, at OHRC’s headquarter.
During the meeting, a brief was presented regarding the OHRC, its competencies, operation mechanism, role in promoting Human Rights in the Sultanate. Also, the brief included a summary of the OHRC coordination and cooperation with competent authorities.
Moreover, several Human Rights topics were discussed during the meeting, as well as the joint cooperation with the Dutch party in the field of Human Rights through the exchange of expertise in the field of training.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ali bin Abdullah Al Kalbani, Secretary General of the OHRC, Shatha bint Abdul Majeed Al Zadjali, Director of Organizations and International Relations, and Laura Claire DeVosses, Second Secretary for Political Affairs in the Embassy of Netherlands.
