Professor Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Balushi, Chairman of the Omani Human Rights Commission, met Dr. Raed bin Abdul Hafez Al Farsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Noor Association for the Blind, and a number of members of the Board of Directors. During the meeting, the OHRC, its powers, its work mechanism in the field of monitoring and receiving reports, and its role in raising awareness about human rights were introduced. Moreover, during the meeting, aspects of cooperation between the OHRC and the Association in everything that would serve human rights were discussed. Counselor Jamal bin Salem Al Nabhani, member of the OHRC and Head of the Public Rights and Freedoms Committee, Saeed bin Salem Al Numani, Secretary of the Technical Secretariat of the OHRC, and a number of specialists from the Omani Human Rights Commission attended the meeting.
