Chairperson of the Oman Human Rights Commission Meets with Head of Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Oman

Professor Rashid bin Hamad Al Balushi, Chairperson of the Oman Human Rights Commission, met with Mr Abdullah Mohammed Saeed, Head of Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Sultanate of Oman, and his accompanying delegation.
 
During the meeting, a presentation was delivered outlining the Commission’s mandate, activities and role in protecting and promoting human rights in the Sultanate of Oman. The ICRC delegation, for its part, provided an overview of its key activities. The meeting aimed to strengthen joint efforts, develop mechanisms for cooperation and facilitate the exchange of expertise between the two sides in humanitarian and human rights fields.
