In the context of OHRC’s role in spreading and promoting a culture of human rights, a number of students from Faid Al-Maarifa School for Basic Education in Muscat Governorate visited the commission.
During the visit, a briefing on OHRC was given, and its terms of reference and mechanism of work in monitoring and receiving communications were explained, not to mention its efforts to raise awareness of human rights in general and the Rights of the Child in particular through relevant legislation, laws and conventions.
