Monitor the observations of foreign governments and international governmental and non-governmental organizations in relation to human rights in Oman and coordinate with the concerned authorities to take required actions. Provide advice for recommendation to concerned authorities in Oman in relation to human rights and freedoms, and prepare reports related to these issues. Monitor human rights violations in the country and provide assistance in resolving and settling them. Propose an annual plan that includes necessary measures to disseminate the culture of human.
