Professor Rashid bin Hamad Al Balushi, Chairman of the Oman Human Rights Commission, met at his office with H.E. Dr. Thomas Oertle, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation accredited to the Sultanate of Oman, and Ms. Sarah Mostafa- Kamel, Programme Manager for Gulf Sustain a regional initiative of the Institute for Human Rights and Business.
During the meeting, a number of human rights-related topics were discussed, with a particular focus on the relationship between business activities and human rights.
The Meeting was attended by Mr. Saud bin Salih Al Maawali, Vice-Chairman of the Commission; Dr. Salih bin Hamad Al Barashdi, Member of the Commission; Mrs. Aida bint Shamis Al Hashimiyah, Member of the Commission; and Mrs. Shatha bint Abdulmajid Al Zadjali, Director of the Department of Organizations and International Relations.
