NHRC Chairman Meets the Editor in Chief of Cairo Portal

The honorable Mohammed Abdullah Al Riyami, chairman of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), met with Mr. Abdulwahid Ashoor, editor in chief of “Cairo Portal”, at the Commission’s office. Al Riyami briefed the visitor about NHRC, its establishment and activities as well as the role of disseminating the culture of human rights and duties among the Omani society. Moreover, Mr. Ashoor praised the Sultanate’s efforts to promote and protect human rights and realize equality and dignity.
