The Oman Human Rights Commission participates in the sixteenth general meeting of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions
A delegation from the Oman Human Rights Commission participated in the 16th General Assembly of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions, which was held in Cairo. During the meeting, the Executive Director of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions presented a report on the network’s achievements, the challenges it faced, the results it achieved, and the development proposals related to training and qualification, and updating the strategic plan of the network for the coming years. The national institutions that are members of the network have also presented working papers through which they clarified the developments and challenges they face to benefit from them when working to update the network’s strategy for the coming years. The Commission was represented at the meeting by Saeed bin Salem Al Namani, member of the Commission, Yasser bin Saeed Al Dhuhli, member of the Commission, Salem bin Saif Al Shuaili, Director of the Commission’s Chairman’s Office, and Al-Muathir bin Ahmed Al-Siyabi, a specialist of international organizations in the Commission.
