The Federal Supreme Court in the United Arab of Emirates postponed the final hearing of the Omani blogger, Muawiya Al Rawahi, for the second time. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) was informed that the postponement was due to non-receipt of the medical report from the medical committee in charge although this was the same reason for postponing the hearing in the first time. The medical committee met Mr. Al Rawahi three times since the last hearing and the next session is scheduled to be on 11 January 2016.
NHRC hopes that the Emirati court reconsider the possibility of releasing Muawiya Al Rawahi until the final verdict due to his health condition that was proved by the initial medical reports.
