OHRC participated in the twenty-fifth annual meeting of the Asia Pacific Forum with the participation of Forum members, representatives of civil society, the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions, and international experts in the field of human rights.
The meeting, which was held via video conference, discussed the challenges of the Corona Virus (Covid 19) pandemic, the national human rights committees dealt with them. The meeting elected the Governance Committee and selected the Forum’s representative for the Office of the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions.
OHRC was represented at the meeting by Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Rawahi, Aida bint Shamis Al-Hashimi, members of OHRC, and Nasser bin Mohammed Al-Kindi, an international organizations specialist at OHRC.
