Sheikh Abdullah bin Shuwain Al Hosni, Chairman of OHRC, met in his office with His Excellency H.E. Balz Abplanalp, Ambassador of Federal Republic of Switzerland to the Sultanate.
During the meeting, the OHRC Chairman explained OHRC’s work mechanism, its role in monitoring and receiving human rights communications, its follow-up to international reports, its efforts in the field of protection and promotion of human rights in cooperation and coordination with the competent authorities in the Sultanate, as well as its relations with regional and international organizations related to human rights.
For his part, the Ambassador expressed his happiness at visiting OHRC headquarters, and his aspiration to sharing experiences and programs related to human rights between the two sides.
