Sheikh Abdullah bin Shuwain Al Hosni, OHRC Chairman, met at OHRC headquarters with Jamila Al Hammami, representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Sultanate.
Al Hosni gave an overview on OHRC, its functions and its role in following up human rights issues in the Sultanate.
For her part, the representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross explained the tasks and responsibilities of the International Committee of the Red Cross at the regional and international levels. The meeting also touched on cooperation and coordination between the two sides in all matters related to human rights issues.
The meeting was attended by Shatha bint Abdul Majeed Al Zadjali, Director of Organizations and International Relations, Said bin Saleh Al Abri, Director of Public Relations and Media, and Nasser bin Mohammed Al Kindi, International Organizations Specialist.
