

National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) conducted a training course on media production fundamentals that lasted for two weeks and targeted NHRC media staff.
At the beginning of the course, the honorable Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Riyami, NHRC chairman, said: “As part of its awareness and educational plan, NHRC continues to deliver its messages through various media such as TV, radio, and local press, as well as producing sound tracks, videos, and printed publications that aim to raise the awareness of human rights and responsibilities in the society”. Mr. Al Riyami also advised the participants to benefit from the media experts to widen their media knowledge and improve their skills.
The training program aimed to define the skills of the participants in writing press releases, radio and TV news, as well as how to use sound and light techniques in filming and photography. The course also included field trips to various radio stations and Oman TV. The program was organized in cooperation with Al Mada Media and conducted by a group of media training experts.
