The Honorable Sheikh/ Abdullah bin Shuwain Al Hosni, Chairman of Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC), met Her Excellency/ Leslie M. Tsou, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Sultanate of Oman, at OHRC’s headquarter.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topics of mutual interest, as the Chairman explained the responsibilities undertaken by the Commission, OHRC’ efforts to follow up Human Rights cases in the Sultanate, as well as the OHRC relations with the regional/ international Human Rights organizations.
From her part, Her Excellency/ the Ambassador expressed her satisfaction with the visit of the OHRC, and welcomed the cooperation with the OHRC Human Rights fields.
The meeting was attended by: Ali bin Abdullah Al Kalbani, Secretary General to OHRC, Eng. Hammoud bin Salem Al Sunaidi (Committee Member), Mr. Nasser bin Mohamed Al-Kindi, international organizations specialist, and Ms. Iman bint Khaled Al-Saidia, International Relations Specialist in the OHRC.
