Within the framework of mutual cooperation between the OHRC and the Qatari National Human Rights Committee, a group of employees of the OHRC helps the brothers in the State of Qatar to provide support throughout the period of the next FIFA World Cup in the field of Humanitarian and human rights services that are assigned to the Qatari NHRC.
The OHRC employees and their colleagues from the State of Qatar received special training through intensive workshops during this period for preparing to effectively participate in serving the guests of the Championship from all over the world in the field of Human rights.
Oman Human Rights Commission expresses thanks and appreciation to the Qatari Committee, especially HE/ Ms. Maryam bint Abdullah Al Atiyah, the President of the Qatari NHRC and HE/ Sultan Al Jamali, the Secretary General of the Committee for giving this opportunity to the employees of the OHRC to contribute in performing this duty consequently, gain more practical experience in the human rights and humanitarian field in this global event. The OHRC wishes the brothers in the State of Qatar all the success in the organization of one of the most successful FIFA World Cups by Allah’s will.
