HE Sheikh /Abdullah bin Shuwain Al-Hosni, Chairman of OHRC met a number of the members of the Omani Committee for International Humanitarian Law at the headquarters of the Commission. During the meeting which aimed to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two committees, the responsibilities, tasks and activities of the OHRC were reviewed. In addition, a visual presentation was displayed to explain the relationship between International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights in general. The meeting was attended by a number of the members of the Omani Committee for International Humanitarian Law under the chairmanship of Brigadier General/ Salim bin Yahya Al-Hinai, Chairman of the Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance and the two members of the OHRC Ms./ Ayda bint Shames Al-Hashimia and Advocate/ Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Shanfri, Mr. / Said bin Salim Al-Nomani, the Secretary general of OHRC and some specialists.
