The OHRC participated in the activities of the summer program for school students organized by the Ministry of Education under the slogan (Summer of Vision and Construction).
The participation included workshops and lectures in the field of human rights in a number of centers in the Governorate of Muscat and the Governorate of Dakhiliyah. The workshops were carried out by Ms. Ruqayya bint Badr Al-Riyamiya, Head of the Strategic Communication Department and Walid bin Saeed Al-Badi, Head of the Communications Department. Furthermore, the workshops covered topics about the OHRC, its terms of reference and its mechanism of work in monitoring and receiving reports, in addition to its role in raising awareness of human rights.
