A delegation from the OHRC participated in the activities of the international conference organized by the General Secretariat of Grievances in the Kingdom of Bahrain on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of its establishment, which was held under the title “The Effectiveness of Ombudsmen in Institutional Work and their Role in Promoting and Respecting Human Rights.”
The conference focused on the role of ombudsmen in promoting human rights within the criminal justice system and the role of existing institutions in the promotion of human rights and the development of justice systems based on respect for human rights.
The OHRC was represented by a delegation headed by Saeed bin Salim Al-Numani, Secretary General of the OHRC. It includes other members such as Munira bint Salim Al-Hinai, a quality technician, and Musa bin Musa Al-Houti from the Office of the Secretary General of the OHRC.
