

The Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC) inaugurated its specialized library dedicated to human rights matters. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Prof. Rashid bin Hamad Al-Balushi, the OHRC Chairperson, along with several of its members, the Secretary of the Technical Secretariat, and the Directors of various Departments.
A comprehensive overview of the library was presented during the inauguration, highlighting its various contents and sections, comprising 796 titles covering diverse areas such as human rights, Omani and international laws, encyclopedias, and general topics.
The library is accessible through the OHRC website (WWW.OHRC.OM), offering an electronic platform concerned with borrowing and benefiting from the library services provided to the public according to the applicable classifications. The aim is to facilitate accessing information for researchers and individuals interested in human rights and to stay updated on technological advancements in the field.
It is worth mentioning that the OHRC, through its specialized library, aims to serve as a vital source and reference for researchers in the field of human rights. It underscores the significance of disseminating knowledge concerning human rights issues within the Sultanate of Oman.
