As part of its training and capacity-building efforts for staff, Oman Human Rights Commission organized a training course on the etiquette of dealing with people with disabilities .
The course covered topics such as the proper ways of dealing with people with physical disabilities, key aspects of life for people with disabilities, assistive technologies, communication methods with people with visual impairments, basics of Braille, stuttering and how to interact with individuals who stutter, and ways to communicate with people with hearing impairments.
