Oman Human Rights Commission held a lecture on children’s rights at Sarh Al Jaameah Private School as part of the Professional Development Week for the school’s staff. The lecture was delivered by Shatha bint Abdul Majeed Al Zadjali, Director of the Organizations and International Relations Department, who introduced the Commission, its mandates, and its operating mechanisms.
She also discussed the national mechanisms for protecting children’s rights, the Child Law and its divisions, and the role of educational staff in protecting children from abuse, as well as how to access the relevant authorities responsible for child protection and care.
