Researcher Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Rashdi Earns Master’s Degree on the Study of the Rights Culture of People with Disabilities
Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Rashdi, Director of the Monitoring and Reporting Department at Oman Human Rights Commission, has obtained a Master’s degree on the topic of Human Rights Culture in Omani Society (with a focus on the rights culture of people with disabilities) from Helwan University in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
 
The study aimed to shed light on the culture of human rights in the Omani society, especially the culture surrounding the rights of people with disabilities, and linked this to the role played by official and governmental authorities, as well as civil society institutions, in applying laws and treaties related to the rights of people with disabilities in a practical and real-world context, in light of the ideal standards and patterns for caring for and rehabilitating people with disabilities.
