Chairman of the Oman Human Rights Commission Receives a Delegation from Penal Reform International Organisation
Prof. Rashid bin Hamad Al Balushi, Chairman of the Oman Human Rights Commission, met with Taghreed Jabr, Regional Director of Penal Reform International (PRI) – Middle East and North Africa Office, and the accompanying delegation.
During the Meeting, the Commission, its mandates, and its working mechanisms were introduced, in addition to the role it plays in protecting and promoting human rights in the Sultanate of Oman.
The Meeting was attended by Lawyer Saud bin Saleh Al Maawali, Vice-Chairman of the Commission; Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al Barashdi, Member of the Commission; Mr. Saeed bin Salem Al Nuamani, Secretary of the Technical Secretariat; as well as a number of directors and specialists from the Commission.
